How to Apply
"I think the state mentor teacher program has been one of the most beneficial programs I've seen in rural Alaska. It offered new teachers an opportunity to work out difficulties they encountered in the classroom without the dilemma of working through the principal. Teachers had someone to support them, listen to them, encourage them, and problem solve with them." Mentor applications are due on February 15, 2010. View the application form below for more details.
